The island off of which I snorkeled- quite an adventure. I was giving instructions in broken English and dropped off ALONE! I am already scared of the ocean a bit, and snorkeling is scary when all you hear is your rapid breath. Also, my mask would not seal and salt water kept going into my right eye. Needless to say, I snorkled for about 30 minutes, putting my feet down wherever there wasn't scary coral in order to drain my mask. I don't think I got to the most beautiful parts of the reef, but I'll live (mainly because I wasn't eaten by a shark, thank God.)
